I went to Savannah with my photography club. Friday, we took a tour of SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design). I love SCAD! I want to get my master’s degree there, but it’s very expensive. Saturday, we walked around the city and visited many places. We went to a jewelry store, a candy kitchen, and a graveyard. But that night, it rained hard. Sunday, we went to a very large park. It was good weather, so we took good photos.

I am stressed cuz I have many projects due this month. But, I don’t have time. I tried to get some work done this weekend, but there’s too much. Plus, I went to a party and the mall with my roomie so that took much of my time. It was still fun, though. I’m glad this is the last diary.

As for 'city,' 町（まち）is more common word for 'city.'
As for '場所に寄りました,' If you want to say 'visited MANY places,' let's say いろいろな場所に寄りました。

As for と(and), comma is positioned after と.
So, write this sentence like:
宝飾の店と、お菓子の廚と、墓地に行きました。
怖い雨が降りました。
You wrote 'Scary rain fell.'

とても大きい公園

For "I tried to get some work done," your sentence is almost correct. It's a good try. It should be: 宿題をしようとしましたが
Also, "there’s too much" should be: 多すぎました。

(Plus, I went to a party and the mall with my roomie so that took much of my time.)
"Plus" should be また("Also").
Also, 愚図つきます is not a very common word. はかどらない(<-negative form of はかどります/progress well) is a better word.
I would write this sentence like:
私の宿題がはかどらなかった(My assignments didn't progress well)
Also, you tried to use the expression from pg.40 of the textbook, is that right?
This expression is "〜のは 〜から だ／です" so your whole sentence should be:
