Sunday, I went to Huntersville with a friend. We went to a lake, hiked through a forest, and did some photography. We found an old, abandoned house. It stood on rocks and looked like it was about to fall. This week, the weather has been very nice. I don’t want to do homework. I want to go play outside or take a long drive to nowhere.
湖水（こすい）is a correct word. Just more common word is 湖（みずうみ）.
写真を止まりました。should be 写真を撮りました（とりました）。
見出しました is a correct word. Just more common word is 見つけました.
家は岩の上に立ちました。 is a correct sentence. Just more natural way to say this is 家は岩の上に立っていました。(<--continuing action form.)
転びそう。should be 転びそうでした。
天気はいいでした。 When you say the past-tense of an i-adjective, you have to drop 'i' and say 'katta.'
But in this case, いい is a little special word. "Good" in Japanese is originally よい, and いい emerged as a slung of よい. いい is not a slung any more, but still it cannot make it's past-tense or negative form. When you make the past-tense or negative form, use よい. So, your sentence should be 天気はよかったです。
外で遊びて、should be 外で遊んで、
何処にもに長い運転して行きたい。 「何処（どこ）」is usually written in hiragana. 「何処にも、、、、行きたい(want to go anywhere)」just sounds not natural. Maybe you wanna say 「どこかに、、、行きたい(want to go somewhere)」 「長い運転」Sorry but we don't say "long drive." We say 「遠くに運転する(drive toward far)」 So, the whole sentence should be どこか遠くに運転したい(I want to drive somewhere far.)
